New Dollcis Numina doll 2013: Nimbus Devon

Hi everybody,

I know I should publish more posts with my own photos but the doll makers are obviously busy this spring and release photos of so many beautiful dolls that I want to cover and save her in my blog for everyone and myself to enjoy.

Paul offered his latest doll Nimbus on his home page at 12 noon today. She is a limited edition of 50 and she is due for shipping in June, you could pre-order today with a 50% deposit, the full price is 700$ plus shipping. I am not sure how quickly exactly she sold out but when I checked 20 minutes past 12, she was already gone.
I think her face and strawberry blonde wig look amazing. The trench witht he obi belt is an interesting idea but I just adore the combination of the innocent looking pink dress and the suede boots so much that I don't really have eyes for it, sorry ;)

Fashion Royalty Spring 2013 collection: Classic

I just realized I have never featured a Fashion Royalty doll here on this blog yet but they were actually for a long time the main focus of my collecting. Now I am at a point where I have a rather large collection of dolls that I see as a great representation of this brand... and I really only want to add new dolls when I feel they are as stunning as my own dolls.
Furthermore, there were some rather frustrating quality assurance problems with these dolls in the past that made me buy less, too. To be fair, I must say that a lot of problems have apparently been fixed in the meantime and I did not really recognize it because I already bought less dolls.

Anyway, I do not want to go on about problems in the past but rather share the new dolls that will be released this spring/summer.

"Nostalgia" Dania Zarr, limited edition 600, suggested retail price: 130$
This is the doll I like most from this collection and I even thought about ordering her though I do think the choice of fabric is a bit odd for the dress. Am I the only one thinking jail uniform?

Splendid Jordan, limited edition 400, suggested retail 130$
I know that Jordan's sculpt is super gorgeous from the one I have in my collection, but I find this hair color odd, especially with the green accessories. I like the bag and shoes, a lot of the accessories this year look cute. I always plan to pick them up separately but of course nobody sells these.

Captivating Anja, limited edition 800, suggested retail 130$
I must confess I don't consider her so captivating but a bit boring. Plus, Anja is one of the very new sculpts that lack character a bit in my opinion.

Ambitious Kesenia, limited edition 700, suggested retail 130$
I find this outfit rather attractive even though I feel Fashion Royalty has done more attractive mini dress plus coat combinations in the past. Like with Anja, I personally cannot connect to the Kesenia sculpt.

Polished Korinne, limited edition 700, suggested retail 130$
This is one sculpt that I do consider very attractive but somehow the doll, hairstyle and outfit are just not really "coming together" here. I willw ait for another Korinne release. Normally the very new sculpts are released a few times in a row so there's a good chance we wills ee another Korinne soon, I guess.

The final doll cannot be ordered trough dealers but only by member of the Integrity toys fanclub, the W club. She is called Irresistible Dania and the edition size will be based on how many orders are received.
Again, I like the accessories but I am personally not a fan of the tanned skin plus blonde hair combination, even though I see a lot of collectors like it. I wish I could order the accessories only ;) They are Jordan's shoes and handbag in a beige color.

Poppy Parker Spring 2013 collection: Poppy Parker at the 1965 International Fair

Hi everyone,

After I posted an image of a cute Poppy parker doll from my own collection last time, this time I would like to share some photos of the latest Poppy Parker collection to be released this summer. All dolls have an edition of 750 dolls, their suggested retail is 89$ and they are due in June.

In general, I am not a big fan of dolls in costumes representing certain countries. I am just a fashion person and I have a strong feeling I would never use any of the outfits except maybe the ones on Switzerland and Spain. maybe I don't like doll costumes because the German dolls always look terrible fully equipped with beer steins and sausages ;)

However, all the dolls have rather beautiful faces. They are essentially a combination of a new face up and favorite screeninings from the past.

"Irresistible in India" features the super popular face up from the limited "Fashion's night out" Poppy. She has a beautiful face but I hesitated because of her hair and dress:

"Spicy in Spain" is one of the dolls with the new screening. I think her hair color is interesting, looks very natural:

I think "Sweet in Switzerland" is a very cute doll. She looks very different from previous Poppy Parkers in my opinion- i think the screening has been used before but I am not sure on which dolls:

Pretty in Polynesia has the screening that was used on the very first collection. I think it is odd that even in the promotional photos, it looks like her head and body are not matching color (or am I the only one seeing this?):

Finally, Joyful in Japan features the new screening with cute cat eyes again. I must say that I would have liked to see another country features. there are already a lot of dolls in Komonos out there and some look a lot more detailed than this one.
